Co-Owner and Managing Director
Travis is passionate about building strong communities, creating opportunities, and delivering outcomes that leave a lasting legacy. With two decades experience in the engineering sector, he has developed a deep understanding of the challenges, complexities, and opportunities within the industry.
Beginning his career as an Apprentice Boilermaker at Tarong Power Station, Travis has built extensive experience across Power Generation, Sugar, Mining, Tunnelling, and Medium to Heavy Fabrication sectors. This diverse industry background provides him with a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of the environments in which Valmar operates.
As the Managing Director of Valmar, Travis brings a wealth of experience, a commitment to excellence, and a genuine passion for people and partnerships. He believes Valmar’s success is built on the strength of its team, where every individual contributes unique skills, experience, and perspective. This collaborative approach drives the company’s commitment to delivering quality workmanship, exceptional service, and solutions that create long-term value for clients, communities, and industry partners.

Operations Manager
As Operations Manager at Valmar, Danielle plays a key role in translating the strategic vision established by Travis and Valmar’s stakeholders into practical outcomes that strengthen and evolve the business. Through a focus on operational improvement, innovation, diversification, and sustainable growth, Danielle works to develop the systems, processes, and capabilities required to support Valmar’s continued success.
With over 20 years’ experience working with people across diverse industries and environments, including hospitality, customer service, construction, and health, Danielle brings a broad commercial and operational perspective to the organisation. This experience has provided a unique understanding of the connection between people, processes, risk, and business performance.
A natural problem solver and critical thinker, Danielle has the ability to assess complex challenges, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions that improve efficiency and create value. Through a balanced and considered approach, Danielle supports decision-making that is commercially responsible, managing risk while ensuring outcomes remain fair and equitable for clients, employees, and the business.

Senior Supervisor
With vast experience working across Steam Boilers, Power Generation, and the Sugar Mill industries, Anthony brings extensive technical knowledge and practical experience to the Valmar team. He has always been driven by the complexity, challenges, and problem-solving opportunities that come with working in these specialised environments.
Beginning his career through an apprenticeship with Poida Engineering, Anthony gained experience in the manufacture of steam boilers and pressure vessels, as well as site installation works with East Coast Steam. Since completing his apprenticeship, he has continued to develop his expertise across heavy fabrication, steam systems, power generation, and sugar processing industries.
With a strong background in steam boilers, fabrication, and industrial operations, Anthony brings valuable industry knowledge and a practical understanding of the challenges faced within these sectors. His experience supports Valmar’s ability to deliver quality solutions, overcome complex challenges, and provide trusted outcomes for clients.
Anthony is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of tradespeople, supporting the development of capability, skills, and confidence within the team. Through mentoring and knowledge transfer, he plays an important role in strengthening Valmar’s technical expertise and ensuring valuable industry experience continues to be passed on.
Co-Owner and Manager
I have worked in the engineering sector for 19 years and I really like the variety and challenges the work offers. I trained at Tarong Power Station as an Apprentice Boilermaker and have had experience in the Power Generation Industry, Sugar Industry, Mining, Tunnelling and Medium to Heavy Fabrication. I bring a wealth of experience to the team in this area.
My favourite part of working at Valmar is that everyone brings something unique to the company. We are a very supportive, close-knit team that go the extra mile to ensure that our clients get 100% quality service and workmanship. We bring our A-game every day but we also have fun as we all love what we do.
My weekends are spent with my family and friends in the outdoors and any extended time off I like to travel overseas.
I have worked around/with Steam Boilers, Power Stations and Sugar Mills for the last 21 years.
I have always enjoyed the challenges and problems that can come with Steam Boilers, Power Stations and Sugar Mills at any time.
I completed my Apprenticeship at Poida Engineering building Steam Boilers and Pressure Vessels as well as site installations for East Coast Steam.
Since my apprenticeship I have had extensive experience in Steam Boilers, Heavy Fabrication Industry, Power Generation Industry and Sugar Mill Industry.
I like to think that I bring a lot of knowledge to the company with my background especially in the Steam Boiler Industry, Power Generation Industry and Sugar Mill Industry.
My favourite part about working for Valmar Engineering is that everyone gets along, and everyone always assists each other with any problems.
The whole team is always close with one another and always works to ensure to deliver to what our customer’s expectations/requirements are.
In my private time I like to enjoy family time with my family as I work away from home.
